The Positive and Negative Effects of social media on Interpersonal Relationship

Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of our daily lives and has revolutionized the way
people communicate and interact with each other. While it has brought about many
positive changes, there are concerns about its impact on interpersonal relationships. This
article discusses the effects of social media on interpersonal relationships, highlighting the
key issues and debates surrounding this topic. The article examines both the positive and
negative effects of social media on interpersonal relationships, including the ease of
connecting with others, addiction, cyberbullying, and relationship insecurity. The article
concludes by emphasizing the need for individuals to be aware of the potential negative
effects of social media on their relationships and take steps to mitigate these effects
