Abstract
This study investigates the influence of advisory services on the growth of women entrepreneurship in Rubirizi
District, Uganda. Drawing upon the resource-based theory, the research examines the extent to which advisory
services provided by Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) affect women's entrepreneurial endeavors.
Data was collected from a sample of 361 respondents using structured questionnaires and analyzed through
descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between
advisory services and the growth of women entrepreneurship, underscoring the importance of tailored support
mechanisms for women-owned businesses. Recommendations include enhancing access to financial literacy and
business management training, increasing awareness of advisory services, and fostering supportive networks for
women entrepreneurs
