Blockchain technology, known for its secure and transparent record-keeping, has the potential to revolutionize clinical trials by enhancing data integrity, security, and patient consent management. This paper explores the integration of blockchain with machine learning to address current challenges in clinical trials, including data fraud, inefficiency, and compliance violations. We discuss the benefits, such as improved transparency, interoperability, and patient-centricity, as well as the technical and regulatory challenges. The potential applications of blockchain in clinical trials, including data management, patient consent, and compliance with regulatory standards, are examined.
